Ramnagar is a small town situated in nainital district of kumaon region of Uttarakhand state. The town is located on the banks of kosi River at an elevation of 345 mts above the sea level. The Town Ramnagar was established in 1856. The place is gateway to the Jim corbett national Park. This is the oldest national park of India and got its name from the great hunter "Jim corbett". Corbett national park, garjiya Devi Temple, sita vani temple are the main attraction of Ramnagar. When the british Rule here ramnagar contain tea garden but these tea gardens have been closed now. Ramnagar is located approximately 65 km from National park. Ramnagar is the ideal spot for fishing and camp. Ramnagar is also famous for litchi cultivation. You can enjoy the fishing in the Kosi River.

Garjiya Temple: Garjiya temple is one of the famous Shakti Shrine in Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and also known as the daughter of king of the himalayan as Giriraj. Situated at a distance of 14 km from Ramnagar. A big fair is held here on the day of Kartik Poornima at Garjia Tempel. This fair is attend by the thousand of the devotees. A beautiful idol of Goddess Garjiya is placed with idols of lord Ganesh, Goddess Saraswati and Bairon Nath. The temple located near the Jim Corbett National Park.
Kosi River: Kosi River is famous for fishing. Fishing season is in the month of October to till mid December and Mid February to june end. Wild animal from Jim corbett national park use it for drinking.
Jim Corbett National Park: Corbett national park established in 1936. The park has been named after its founder the famous hunter "Jim Corbett". The park came under the aegis of project tiger in 1973. The national park spread an area of about 520 sqkm. Many water bodies flow through the park. The park contain 488 different type of abode to 580 bird species, 50 species of mamal and 25 species of reptial. But the main resion for visit the Jim corbett National park is Tigers and Elephants.
Sita vani Temple: Sita Vani Temple is located in the are of Ramnagar and situated at a distance of 20 km from Ramnagar. This Temple is dedicated to Goddess sita. Every year during the Ramnavami a fair is celebrated in Ramngar. It is believed that Devi sita came into the lap of mother earth at this place.
Ramnagar Railway Station: Ramnagar Railway Station is 2 km from the main town. Ramnagar junction is under the administrative control of the Izzatnagar division of the North eastern Railway Zone of the Indian Railway. The Railway station is used by the tourist who visit the famous Jim corbett National Park.
Corbett Museum: Corbett Museum is the place where the Great hunter 'Jim Corbett" was stay during the winter season. The museum contain his books like Man Eating Tiger, Man Eating tigers of Kumaon and also offered his personal items like Gun , Fishing net, cap, bag and some of his photographs with Tigers.
Nainital: Nainital is a popular hill station of Uttrakhand state and headquarter of Nainital district. Nainital is popular amomg the tourist for Naini Lake, Highest Naini mountains, Deopath and Aryapath. Nainital is a charming hill station and most visited destination among the tousists. Situated at a distance of 61 km from Ramghar at an elevation of 1938 mts above the sea level and one of the 13 district of Uttarakhand. The main attraction of Bhimtal village is Bhimatal Lake, the lakes is a small island located at the center of the town. Bimtal is an ancient place and got its name from the legend 'Bhima' of Mahabharta. It is believed that Pandavs was visit this place during their exile period. Bhimtal Town is older than the Nainital town and well connected with Kathgodam and all kumaon Region.
Ranikhet: Situated at a distance of 87 km from Ramghar at an elevation of 1869 mts above the sea level. Ranikhet is a charming hill station located in Almora District of Uttarakhand state. Known as the home of Kumaon Regiment and Naga regiment of Indian Army. popularly known as the "Queens of meadows" or "Queen fields". Offered majestic views of snow capped Peaks of Himalayan.
