You can sea here a wide range of birds species and rich in flora and Fauna. Among the species are Cheer Pheasant, The red Headed Vulture, Great Spotted Eagle, The eastern imperial Eagle, Grey -Crowned Prinia, the black -crested tit, Green -Crowned warber etc. The forest of this reserve are rich in flora and fauna. Sat Tal: This lake has contain seven corners and situated at a distance of 24 km from Pangot at an elevation of 1370 mts above the sea level. The lake is surrounding by thick dense forest of Oak and pine trees. Sattal is one of the lake that contain unspoiled and unpoluated fresh water. The lake is Surrounding with amidist dense Forest of Oak and Pine Trees and also a paradise for migratory birds. The lake is combination of seven Lakes namde are Purna tal, Ram Tal, Sita Tal, Laxman Tal, Nal Damyanti Tal, Sukh Tal and Garud Tal.
Bhim Tal: Bhimtal is situated at a distance of 23 km from pangot with an altitude of 1375 mts above the sea level. Bhimtal is an ancient place get its name the legendary Bhima of Mahabharata. Bhimtal is older place to Nainital. Bhimtal Lake is the major attraction of the bhimtal town. This is the place where Pandavs visited during the exile period. Bhimtal is well connected to Kathgoda and all kumaon regions and Nepal.
