Naukuchiatal - The Lake with Nine Corners. Naukuchiatal is a beautiful lake situated in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand state. The lake is just 20 km from Nainital at an elevation of 3996 ft above the sea level. Naukuchiatal is also known as "the nine coeners lake".
