Kotdwara is situated on the foothills of the Shivaliks in Pauri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand state. It is situated at a distance of 101 kms from Paur. Kotdwar is located on the bank of River Khoh. The place is get its name for river Khoh. The Katdwar Railway Station established in 1890 by Britished. The place is situated at a height of 395 m above the sea level.

Lansdowne: Situated at a distence of 40 km from Kotdwar at an elevation of 1700 mts above the sea level. It is on of the quietest hill stataion of india, surrounding with thick Oak and blue pine forest. It is the cantonment area of the Garhwal Rifles of Indian Army and therefor there are limited hotels at this place.
Tarkeshwar Mahadev: The place got its name after the temple of Tarkeshwar Mahadev Dedicated to Lord Shiva. The place is surrounding by thick forest of Deodra and pine Affording scenic vistas of Nature. Situated at a distance of 70 km from Kotdwar.
Haridwar: Popular as the Gateway of God or "Hari ka dwar" and Gateway of Chardham Yatra of Hindu Situated in Uttarakhand. Thousand of Devotees are visit Haridwar throughtout the year.
