Didihat is a valley located in pithoragarh district. Didihat is rich in flora and fauna and surrounded by attractive ridges. It is situated on the way of Pilgrimage of Kailash Mansarover. The valley below Didihat is known as "Haat Valley". Didihat was a tehsil in the almora district. The place is a deep Himalayan tourist destination and situated at a distance of 54 km from Pithoragarh.
The Remnats of the ancients forts can also be seen in Didihat and alsi a showcases the diverse flora and fauna which is ideal for having Peaceful nature walks and village walks.
Population of didihat is 6522. The famous tourist attraction include the scenic hill spot. The Askot Musk Deer Sanctuary situated in the Didihat and the temple of Lord shiva "Sirakot Malaynath Mandir" built by the reika kings. Didihat is famous for ancient shirakot temple of Lord Malay nath (Lord Shiva).

Askot Sanctuary: Popular for the presence of the Himalayan Musk Deer, Bharals, Monals, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, Chirs, koklas, Pheasants, snow coks Tahra and Chukors. located at an elevation of 5412 ft above the sea level. It Sanctuary is not only rich in flora and fauna but affords athe charming vistas of nature's beauteousness.
Berinag: Berinag is located in Didihat districts of Uttarakhand state. It is an amazing hill station. The location is famous for its beautifull hills and faces the massive snow capped peaks of the great himalayas. Berinag is known for snake temples.
Dharchula: Dharchula is a town and nagar panchayat in Didihat districts. It is an ancient trading town and surrounded by very high mountains and is situated in avalley on the bank of the kali river.
Bageshwar: Situated at a distance of 74 kms from Didihat and is the new district Headquarters of Danapur. Famous for its natural beauty, Glaciers and the temples. Munsiyari: Munsiyari is famous for its picturesque beauty and Trekking. Situated at a distance of 97 kms from Didihat with at an average elevation of 2298 above the sea level. It is the base camp of trekkers going towards The Milam , Ralam and Namik Glaciers.
Abbott Mount: Abbott Mount is offered picturesque environment and covered into a white sheet During the Winter season and present the glorious view of snow capped mountain peak througyhtout the year. Binsar: Situated at a distance of 89 kms from Didihat at an elevation of 2412 mts above the sea level. Bineshwar is the famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the temple is built by King Kaltan Of the Chand Dynasty. Present the views of major peak like Chaukhamba, Panchchuli, Nanda Kot Kedarnath and other Peals are surrounded the valley.
Kausani: One of the most popular Hill Station of Kumaon Region. Situated at an elevation of 1890 mts above the sea level and 112 km from Didihat. A Famous poet Writer Sumitrananadan panth was born here and Mahatma Gandi was absolurely Fascinated by the Scenic Grandeur of Kausani while a visit in 1929.
