Dehradun is the capital of Uttrakhand state. Dehradun is located in the Doon Valley at the foothills of the himalayans. The city is nestled between the river Ganga on the east and River Yamuna on the west. The city is known for its pleasant climate and provides a gateway to the popular hill station.
