Dayara Bugyal is a beautiful grass land and in the local language it means “High Altitude Meadows” it is a picture perfect destination situated at an elevation of 3048 mts above the sea level. It is considered as the one of the most mesmerizing meadows in India popularly known as the high altitude land. It is located in Uttarkashi district in the state of Uttarakhand spread over an area 28 sq km. Dayara Bugyal is a most beautiful trek and Vehicles can go up to Barsu Village from there one has take a trek of 8 km to reach Dayara and other route is via Raithal Village from there one has take a 6 km trek to reach Dayara Bugyal. It is a large majestic land with large slopes of green meadows. The charming bugyla is dotted with dense conifer trees and different kinds of flowers both are increased the charm of this place. Dayara Bugyal is a wonderful green grass land provides breathtaking views of the Himalayna mountains, the fragrance of forest and flowers with romantic environment makes it a perfect destination for trekkers and nature lovers. Dodi Tal: It is a fresh water lake located in Uttarkashi with at an elevation of 3024 mts above the sea level. Dodi Tal is a beautiful lake has religious importance. It is said that Lord Ganesh was chose this place for his abode. Near the lake Ganesha Temple is also situated. The Lake is ideal for picnic, trekking and sunset views. This place is a base camp for trekking to Darwa and Hanuman Chatti.
Nachiketa Tal: Nachiketa Tal offered the awesome beauty surrounding by the majestic and mesmerizing nature beauty. The thick forests of pine and oak forests increased the charm of this place. On the bank of Nachiket Tal a famous Nag Devta Temple is situated which is visited by the tourists.
Kuteti Devi: This temple is located on the Hari Parbat Hill top dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is said that this temple was built by the daughter of Maharaja Kota. This is a religious temple visited by the Tourists and Locals. It is also a popular tourist attraction in Uttarkashi.
Har ki Doon: It is a popular place among trekkers. Har ki doon is a beautiful valley surrounding by the snow capped Himalayan Peaks like Banderpoonch, Ruinsara, Black peak and Swargarohini. It is said that this is the valley where Pandawas took route on their journey to heaven.

Every year in the month of last of April or first week of May the temple opens and thousands of the devotees from across the country visit Gangotri to get the blessings of Goddess Ganga.
Nehru Mountaineering Institute: This institute was established in 1965 in the memories of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by a mountain lover. It is a best institute and lots of the trekker take training and learn about mountaineering.
Yamunotri: Yamunotri is religious pilgrimage destination and the main source of River Yamuna. It is situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above the sea level. Yamunotri is a most religious part of Chardham dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. An ancient Temple of Goddess Yamuna is also situated on the bank of Yamuna River offered the best options of 6 km trekking.
Kedar Tal: Kedar Tal is situated 18 km from Gangotri located with at an elevation of 15000 ft above the sea level. The lake is popularly known for its clear crystal water and also known as the base camp for trekkers to Jogin and Bhrigupanth.
