Binsar is a small hill station and located at an altitude of 2,480 meters above the sea level. The town is located on the jhandi Dhar hills of Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand state. All over the countery the people visit this hill station to spend their holidays. The town is surrounded by Greenery and forest and offered a glorius voew and beauty of the valley.Normaly forest have pine, oak, deodar and rhododendron tree. The wildlife sanctuary near the town is the main attraction of the tourists. The sanctuary is covered an area around 45.59 sqkm. it has a large space of flora and fauna. Binsar is a lovely hill station where you can find mountains, flora, fauna, and wildlife. you can also visit various himalayan peaks like Nanda devi, Nanda kot, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Trishul etc. Most famous temple of Jageshwar is situated 34 km from Almora is the major attraction of hindu devotees. Jageshwar is one of the twelve jyotirlingas. It is also popular among the tourist because of trekker's paradise. Binsar is offered solubrious air for trekking, misty mountains, surrounded with Oaks and Rhododendron trees.
Summer Season: Summer starts from March to till May. During the summer season the maximum tempterature is 30 degree and minimum temperature is 15 degree. The days are warm and nights are cool and pleasent.
Winter Season: November month is the starting month of winter in Binsar and till the month of february. The temprature is down to 0 degree and wather is very cool. you can visit binsar during the winter season to enjoy the natural beauty.
Monsoon Season: Monsoon is starts from june and lasts till september. The temprature is about 20 degree during the monsoon season. Monsoon is the brillent time for sightseeing in Binsar.
Bineshwar Mahadev Temple: Bineshwar Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is oldest temple in binsar built in 16th century by Raja Kalyan Chand of the famous Chand Dynasty.
Zero point: Binsar zero point is the highest vantage point of the binsar Wildlife. From this point, tourists can enjoy beautiful views of some of the most famous peaks of Himalayan range such as Kedarnath, Trishul, Nanda devi. Zero point is a short trek from Binsar wildlife Sanctuary tourist rest house.
Kasar devi Temple: The temple is most popular attraction for tourists. The temple is located at a distance of around 9 km from Binsar. Kasr Devi Temple is the house for Dutch Monk. The temple is recognition when Swami Vivekanand meditated in this temple in 1820.
Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: The wildlife sanctuary over an area around of 47.04 sqkm. This area is designed as a wildlife Sanctuary in 1988. It is the home of 200 species of bird, Barking Deer, Himalayan Bear, leopard, fox, musk deer, langur, flying squirrel, chital, jungle cat etc. The sanctuary is surrounded by Oak, Pine and Rhododendron trees.
Pariyadeva Pashan: This is a popular vantage point in Binsar and located on the Almora -Binsar road. This famous archeological site is known for its ancient relics like long stones with cup-marks that date back to megalithic age.
Binsar Hill: Binsar hill is present the panoramic view of Kumaon Hills and himalayan. This beautiful hill is localy known as the Jhadi Dhar. it is situated at an altitude of 2420 meters above the sea level.
Jalna: It is present the Glorius view of himalayan peak. It is situated at a distance of 59 km with 1677 m height. Jalna is famous for producing the apples, peaches, pear etc.
Shiva Temple: This Shiva Temple is situated just 31 km from Binsar. It is surrounded with Oak and Beodar trees. The temple is famou among the locals.
Gangnath Temple: Gangnath Temple is take an important place among the local people. A fair is held here in the day of Kartik Purnima and whole place is turn into a magical land with folk dance with folk songs.
Khali Estate: Khali Estate is a royal palace and now it is a heritage hotel.
Almora: Almora is a Beautiful hill station situated 38 km from Binsar.The hill station is situated at an average elevation of 1638 metres above the sea level. Almora is a hill area like Nainital and Shimla and developed by the Kumaoni people. The place is famous for its beauty, rich cultural, Panoromic view of the Himalayas, uniq handicrafts and delicious cuisines. This beautiful town was founded in 1568. Almora offered lots of attractions.
Kausani: The hill station famous for its 300km wide panoramic view of Himalayan like - Nanda devi, Trishul and Panchchuli. Kausani is a small hill station and also known as "Switzerland of india. It is located at an average elevation of 1890 meters above the sea level. The town is surrounding by Thick pine forest and valleys on both side. The Mahatma gandhi is describe Kausani as "The Switzerland of india". The place is known for its climate with mild summer and realy cool winter. A famous poet write Sumitranand Pant was born in Kausani.
Bageshwar: The town is gets own name from the famous srine Bagnath Temple. The city is a headquarter of Bageshwaar district and located at a distance of 60 km from binsar. The city is famous for its natural beauty, Rivers, Glaciers and Temples with an average elevation of 1,004m above the sea level. Chir, pine, Himalayan Cypress, Pindrow fir, Alder,sal, irom-wood,Limestone trees are found here. Bageshwar place is a religious and historical place and famous for its several river and temples.
Nanda Devi Temple: Nanda Devi Temple is a lodest temple about 1000 year old and one of the most visited temple located in Almora. A fair is held here which is attended by all over the countery.
Baijnath Temple: Baijnath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. This is the third well known temple where Lord Shiva and Parvati are worshipped togather.
Almora bazaar: Almora bazaar is popular for Shoping like -Pashmina Shawls, copperware, Rangoli paintings, Traditional Kumaoni Jewellery, and famous sweet of kumaon -Bal Mitthai.
Katarmal Sun Temple: It is one of the few sun sun temple in India and about 800 year old. A idol of God sun is situated in the temple.
Gollu Devta Temple: This temple is situated at a distance of 44 km from Binsar. Thousands of Bells are hanging in the temple. The temple is dedicated to Gollu Devta and believed that every wish come ture if Ask for celar conscience.
Jageshwar: Jageshwar temple is dedicated to Lord shiva and one of the oldest shiva temple in india and located at a distnace of 36 km northest of Almora district and 56 km from Binsar. The temple is located at an altitude of 1870 meters above the sea level. Jageshwar temple has Nagesh Jyotirling this is one of twelfth jyotirling situated here. jageshwar town celebrate two main fastival, one of Jageshwar Monsoon Festival which is held during the month of August and second is Shivarathri Mela, this fastival held during the spring season.
