Berinag is a small hill station located in Pithoraghar district of Uttarakhand State. It is situated at a distance of 160 km from Nainital and located at an elevation of 1860 meters above the see leve. Berinag is famous for its ancient snake temples. The town get its name for snakes temple and most famous temple is Nag Devta Temple. Nag Devta Temple is most popular among the tourists and it is beleived that Lord Krishna ordered to Kaliya Nagh who ruled the Yamuna River, To leave the River and settle somewhere in the Himalayas than he obliged and travelled to Berinag.
Other famous attraction of the place near top the place are Didihat, Patal Bhuvneshwar and Chaukori etc. Berinag is offered magical view of Himalayan Trishuli, Rajrambha, Panchachuli and Nanda Devi peaks etc. Berinag is present natural beauty and panoramic views of the Garhwal as well as kumaon Himalayas is one of peaks of Being at berinag.

Nag Devta Temple: Veni Nag Devta Temple is famous temple and temple is located at a distance of 12 km from Chaukori. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Krishna has ordre to Kaliya Nag after defeating leav the Yamuna River and settle some where of Himalayas. He obliged and travelled to Berinag.
Hat Kalika Temple: Hat Kalika temple is dedicated to Goddess kali. Adi Guru Sankracharaya was established this temple. Hat Kalika Temple is a Magha kali Shakti Peeth.
Patal Bhuvneshwar: Patal Bhuvneshwar is a stone made temple and located at a distabce of 14 km from Gangolihat in Pithoragar district. The temple is located in Bhuvneshwar village and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple cave is 160 m long and 90 feet deeo from the entrance point.It is 35 km from Berinag.
Shri Mahadev Mandir: Shri Mahadev Mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva and a holy shrine. This temple is surrounding by dense forest and mountain range of Nar and Narayan.
Chaukori: Chaukori is a small hill station located in Pithoragarh district. It is situated at an elevation of 2010 mts above the sea level. Bageshwar: Bageshwar is lies on the confluence of Saryu and Gomti Rivers. It derives its name from "Bagnath"a famou temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Didihat: Didihat is located at a distance of 34 km from Berinag. It is situated at an elevation of 1725 mts above the sea level in Pithoragar district of Uttarakhand state. This is situated on the way of Pilgrimage of Kailash Mansarover. situated at a distance of 54 km from Pithoragarh. Didihat is famous for ancient shirakot temple of Lord Malay nath. The Askot Musk Deer Sanctuary situated in the Didihat and the temple of Lord shiva "Sirakot Malaynath Mandir" built by the reika kings.
