The Abbott mount is located a top of hill in the kali kumaon region and situated in the beautiful district of Champawat. The place has been named after john Harold. He is a British businessman who found the beautiful hill station. The place is located at an elevation of 6400 ft above the sea level. The place Abbott Mount established during the early part of 20 th century by English Businessman called "John Harold Abbott".
Abbott mount is the place experiences excellent wather throughout the year. You can do many activities like -trekking, angling, bird watching and photography. The area is surrouning by thick forests of pine and deodars. It is located in the confluence of Surya and Mahakali Rivers.
Summer are Pleasent here and Winters are cool climate here. Himalayans birds whose twittering and chirping creates a melodious environment to make the place perfact for visit. The hill station is home to a huge variety of Himalayans birds.
During the summer season the gardens of Abbott mount are full with colourfull and glorious butterflies. The mountains are Trishul, Maiktoli, Nandakot amd the twin peaks of the Nanda devi are offered the panoramic view and make the palce glorious.

Summer season: The month of March to till june are very pleasent in Abbot mount. The minimum temprature is 10 degree and maximum is 20 degree. Abbott Mount Church : Abbott Mount Church is an old church built in 1942. Church is present Colonial Style Architecture. A british "John Abbott" Discovered the place. It is located at a distance of 10 km from Abbot Mount.
Kamakhya Temple: Kamakhya Devi Tempel is Dedicated to "Goddess of Desire" and situated at a distance of 7 km from Pithoraghar and 62 km from Abbott mount. It is a holy shrine of Hindus Devotees and have several sun -kissed peaks.
Kapileshwar Mahadev: The Kapileshwar Mahadev Temple is famous attraction in Pithoragarh. The cave is dedicated to Lord Shiva and located at a distance of 3 km from Pithoragarh and 59 km from Abbott mount.
Pithoragarh Fort: Situated on the top of hill in the outskirt of Pithoragarh town. The fort was built in 1789 by Gorkahs and present the historic architecture.
Dhwaj Temple: Situated at an elevation of 2100 meter above the sea level. Dhwaj Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Jayanti. It is located at a distance of 25 km from Pithoragarh.
Devidhura: It is located at a distance of 45 km from Lohaghat and arount 52 km from Abbott mount and famous for Barahi Temple. This temple is take an importabt place among the local people. It is also an adventurous site for Trekking. The popular tale "Temple Tiger "of jim Corbett is associted here.
Champawat: The famed city of Champawat is a town and nagar palika in Champawat District of Uttarakhand. It is located at an elevation of 1670 meters above the sea level. Champawat is famous fot its ancient temples. Champawat includes many hindu temples like - Baleshwar temple, Nagnath temple, and the Kranteshwar temple are present remarkable architecture.
Lohaghat: It is located on the banks of Lohawati river. Lohaghat is situated just 7 km from Abbott Mount with an altitude of 1745 mts above the sea level. Lihaghat is a quite little hill station.

The charming little town of Chaukori is unlike any other hill station you have seen. Chaukori is a peaceful hamlet in Pithoragarh district of the Kumaon Hills of Uttrakhand.
