Rudranath, Kedarnath, Madhmaheshwar, Kalpnath and tungnath they all are five shrines of Lord Shiva. Panch Kedar is comprises with these five Shrines. Between the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers the Panch Kedar lies in the valleys. In India it is one of most difficult pilgrimage. The highest Temple in Garhwal is Tungnath where the arm of Lord Shiva is situated at 3810m of an altitude. The Temple at Tungnath above 500m is Chandrashila. Madhyamaheshwar, Kalpeshwar, Tungnath, Kedarnath and Rudranath are the five temples designated in the strict pecking order to be followed for pilgrimage. After the battle of Mahabharata, the Pandavas atone the sins of Lord Shiva sought their blessings.
The Madhmaheshwar lies at the base of the Chaukhamba Peaks, where the natural rock is linga that resembles the hump of a bull. The trekking of Panch Kedar will take you towards Rudranath, there is a natural rock temple in which here the Shiva Mukha is worshipped. Kalpeshwar is located in the pretty valley of Urgam. Here there is a cave Temple and Shiva is worshipped in his matted hair shape for a mesmerizing Rudranath Tour. In Nepal, the forelegs that showed at Pashupatinath. Forming the Panch Kedar is the arm at Tungnath, the hump of the bull at Kedarnath, the face at Rudranath, the matted hair at Kalpeshwar and the torso including the navel at Madhyamaheshwar in India.
Between the Alaknanada gorge and the Mandakini valley the other shrines are located in the highlands while Kedarnath is situated in the Mandakini River valley. Alaknanada’s tributary is Kalp Ganga River flows through this Valley. Madhmaheshear is the only temple out of panch kedar where you visit the 12 month of year. At Rudranath worshipped the face of Lord Shiva, here Lord Shiva’s face looks like angry and it is believed that the face of Lord Shiva looks like a small child in the morning, the Lord Shiva face looks like a young man in the afternoon but Lord Shiva face looks like an old man in the evening.
Day 01: Rishikesh – Pipalkoti
Drive to Pipalkoti after morning breakfast. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Pipalkoti – Helang – Urgam
15kms drive to reach Helang after morning breakfast. We will start our trek from here up to Urgam Village. The trek was come across the murmuring waterfalls and dense forest along with Kalp Ganga. Urgam Village is popular for its terraced fields, potatoes and apple orchard. Stay overnight in tent.
Day 03: Urgam – Kalgot
Trek up to Kalgot village pass through lush green meadows, dense forests after breakfast. Meet the locals and collect the information about their culture, tradition etc. Stay overnight in tents.
Day 04: Kalgot – Rudranath
we can find a splendid view of Nanda Ghunti, Hathi Parvat, Trishuli, Nanda Devi and other group of peaks from here. Chandrakund, Tarakund and Suryakund you can also visit here which is situated nearby the Temple. Stay overnight in tents.
Day 05: Rudranath – Sagar – Mandal
The face of the Lord Shiva is the worshipped in this temple. Cherapunji is another name of Mandal. Stay overnight in tents.
Day 06: Mandal – Chopta – Tungnath
Drive to Chopta after breakfast. From the sea level Chopta is situated at an altitude of 2900m. At Chopta trek to Tungnath from the sea level it is situated at the height of 3680mts. Stay overnight in Tungnath.
Day 07: Tungnath – Chopta – Gaundhar
4km trek up to Gaundhar from here. The last place of confluence is Makandya Ganga and Madmaheshwar Ganga. Stay overnight in tents.
Day 08: Gaundhar – Madhmaheshwar
Trek start up to Madhmaheshwar after morning breakfast. After disappearing at Kedarnath, Madhmaheshwar is believed that the Navel mid part of the body reappeared at this worship. You can see the magnificent view of the Neelkanth peaks, Kedarnath and Chaukhamba here. Stay overnight in guest house.
Day 09: Madhmaheshwar – Gaundhar
Trek back to Gaundhar in the morning. Stay overnight in guest house.
Day 10: Gaundhar – Ransi – Guptakashi
Trek to Ransi 4km after breakfast and drive back to Guptakashi from here. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Guptakashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
Drive to Gaurikund after breakfast and trek up to 19km Sri Kedarnath from here. The trek is cross the pretty surroundings. Stay overnight in guest house.
Day 12: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Rudraprayag
Visit Kedarnath Temple after morning breakfast,through river Mandakini trek drive to Rudraprayag. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
Drive to Rishikesh after morning breakfast. Your tour is end here.

By Train: Haridwar and Rishikesh is the nearest railway station for Panch Kedar. In India Haridwar junction is well connected to major cities.
By Road: New Delhi to Haridwar bus service is available and it is well connected to major cities.
