It gives an opportunity a panoramic view of Chaukhamba peaks. From Gaurikund, where there is a hot water Sulphur spring here the trek is starts. The high Glacier Lake is Vasuki Tal is situated at an altitude of 14,200 feet in Kedarnath Dham of Uttarakhand above sea level. Vasukital is a great trek and a continuous ascent from Kedarnath. From here the view of Mandakini Valley and Chaukhamba peaks is an amazing. This lake with crystal clear water you will take an immediate trance. We pass through stately forests and come across some pretty waterfalls in the way to reach Kedarnath.
According to Myths, it is believed that Lord Vishnu bathed in the water of this Lake during Rakshabandhan. That’s why it was named as Vasuki Tal. The trek commences is the nearest road head to the Vasuki from Gaurikund. To reach Rambara the trekkers cross the lush greenery from Gaurikund. From Kedarnath, Vasuki Tal is 8km trek and at Gaurikund from nearest road head is 24km trek. Around the Vasuki Tal are several pretty colorful flowers, and Brahma Kamal is one of the popular flower.
The lake is completely frozen during winter. From the Vasuki Top, the icy Vasuki Tal is 900 meters downhill trek. Chaturangi Glacier and Vasuki Glacier are completed with ravines and crossing them demands best fitness. Before halting for the night at Kedarnath one has to reach Garur Chatti from Rambara. The Vasuki Tal is easy for first 3-4 kms in the starting. The journey steeply ascends to Kedarnath from Dhungaj Giri and further, leads to Vasuki Tal a climb of 5 kilometers. From May to October is the good time to visit Vasuki Tal, the weather is pleasant and mild.

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar - Rishikesh
Evening free to explore ‘Aarti’ (Holy ceremony) at the river ‘Ghat’. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh – Gaurikund
The holy river Ganges start and flown in the plains from here, on the way to see confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River. Visit the Temple for ‘Aarti’ ceremony in the evening. Stay overnight at guest house.
Day 03: Gaurikund – Kedarnath
It is the shrine of Lord Shiva. Trek to Kedarnath is 14kms. From here trek to Kedarnath and drive to Gaurikund after breakfast.
Day 04: Kedarnath – Vasukital – Kedarnath
Visit the Temple and later start your trek towards Vasukital after breakfast. Trek to Vasukital is 8km. Trek back to Kedarnath in the afternoon. Stay overnight at guest house.
Day 05: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Rudraprayag
Trek to Gaurikund is 15kms and drive to Rudraprayag from here. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Rudraprayag – Haridwar – Delhi
Drive to Haridwar after morning breakfast. On arrival meet our executive and arrival at Delhi.
Day 07: Delhi Departure
Drive to Delhi after breakfast. Your trek is ended here.
HOW TO REACH
By Road: Gaurikund is the nearest road head to Vasuki Tal. Buses are easily available from here.
By Train: Rishikesh is the nearest railway station for Gaurikund. Local buses and shareable cabs are available from here to Guptakashi.
