Kagbhusandi Tal Trekking

The breathtakingly beautiful triangular shaped lake withits emerald green water attracts trekking enthusiasts from across the world. Situated at 4,345 meters above sea level, at the base of the hathi parvat, the Kakbhusandi Lake is 500 meters long and 250 metres wide. Green water of the lake adds beauty of the colorful blossoming flower on its banks.

The route to Kakbhusandi provides panoramic views to neelkanth, Hathi Peak, Chaukhamba and Nara-Narayan peaks. The lake is situated near Vishnuprayag (one of the Panch prayag) lying on the Joshimath - Badrinath route. While going from Joshimath, the first halt is at Bhyundar Village.

Summer as Well as spring month are good time to visit a Kakbhusandi Lake.
