Day 01: Rishikesh – Badrinath:
From Rishikesh catch the bus to Badrinath an early morning. Take the blessings of deity and pay obeisance at the Badrinath Temple on reaching Badrinath. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Badrinath – Lakshmi Van:
Commence a 3 km short trek to Mana, the last village on the Indo - Tibetan border of India. The gradient of the trek will become steeper from Mana after crossing the Temple of Saraswati. The surging sound of the water plunging after a couple of hour from a height will suddenly hit your ears. The Vasudhara Fall’s sight will come into your eyes. At Lakshmi Van you will passes through your campsite and 4 km walk on the moraines.
Day 03: Lakshmi Van – Chakratirtha:
We will start the trek to Chakratirtha through the Sahastra Dhara from Lakshmi Van. This trek through the Satopanth Valley is a short picturesque trek. You can see the colorful alpine flowers blooming in the valley on the route.
Day 04: Chakratirtha – Satopanth – Chakratirtha:
Get ready to meander come across the puzzling maze of moraines and boulders. You will see the first sight of the triangular shaped (Satopanth Lake) on reaching the top of the ridge. From the emerald lake the breath taking views will sweep you off your feet. You can also see a Muni Baba (saint) who resides near the lake. Start descending to Chakratirtha campsite after spending some precious time here. The trek back 5 km to Chakratirtha.
Day 05: Chakratirtha – Mana – Badrinath:
We trek all the way down to Mana village. From Mana follow the same trail that you took for reaching Chakratirtha. This trek of 15 km can be completed in 5 – 6 hours. Stay overnight at the camp.
Day 06: Badrinath – Rishikesh:
Drive back to Rishikesh after having a breakfast. Your tour and our services end here with great memories.
Rishikesh is the nearest railhead to Satopanth Glacier trek from here it is situated at 320 km. from Rishikesh towards Badrinath you can hire the cab and take buses and taxis. From Badrinath the distance to Satopanth is 22 km. At Dehradun the nearest airport is situated.
