Kalabaland Glacier Trek

This glacier is a famous glacier in Uttarakhand state of India and it is situated in the eastern Kumaon of the Pithoragarh district. A best climbing area of Kalabaland glacier is beside its eastern branch. From the Kalabaland glacier is the peak Chiring We is rises. Kalabaland is situated to the west of the Darma Valley and to the north of the Milam Valley. Kalabaland glacier lies above the Yankcharand Sankalp glacier which is also a famous glacier’s name. Glacier when merges with Yankcharand Sankalp then shape Sankalp glacier. A mixed glacier system of Kalabaland Burfu Kalganga glacier is the Kalaband glacier system. This glacier in length is 15 km.

Suli Top, Suitilla, Bamba Dhura, Bhurpu Dhura, Kalabaland Dhura and Chiring We are a number of surrounding peaks the Kalabaland Glacier. Nestled by the horseshoe shaped Himalayan Lassar Yankti Valley and massif separating Goriganga is Kalabaland Glacier and little it is lies to the east of the Milam Glacier. From the Kalabaland Glacier originates the only river is Ralam gad Glacier. This glacier is also combination of two other glaciers those are Sankalp and Yangchar.
